Areas of Practice
Carroll L. McCauley, Sr., offers the highest levels of competence and experience to the following areas of family law:
- Preparation and negotiation of prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Assessment and options presented by proposed or ongoing dissolution of marriage proceedings
- Analysis and assessment of legal issues presented by division of assets in dissolution of marriage proceedings, which may include business interests, real estate, pension benefits, trusts and assets of special concern to divorcing partners
- Modification and enforcement of judgments involving alimony and child support
Mr. McCauley’s approach to these highly personal and emotionally charged issues is to first carefully identify the problems presented; next provide the client with options for a fair and efficient resolution of the issues; and then follow through with processes that include negotiation, mediation, and litigation as may be best suited to the needs of the client.
